Maggie McGraw and James Rubin are engaged—ain’t that just like a dream?

Indeed, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s daughter and her partner of over two years are officially taking the next step in the relationship, her older sister Gracie McGraw confirmed. 

“@jamesrubin170 proposed to our sister @maggiemaymcgraw in the greatest most Maggie way possible, filled with flowers and family,” Gracie wrote in an Aug. 30 Instagram post. “It’s an honor to have been a small part of the process of getting things set up and perfect for our Mags, I will never forget it.”

Gracie, 29, detailed that she, as well as her younger sister Audrey McGraw, 24, assisted in putting together the proposal, and expressed excitement in gaining “a new brother-in-law who loves my sister so fiercely and wholly that it makes everything all the more special.” 

And Gracie emphasized that her sister is about to enter her best chapter yet. 

“Thank you @jamesrubin170,” she added, “for making my sister the happiest lady in all the land.”
