Rosie O’Donnell almost can’t believe she got a facelift.

The comedian shared that she decided to get the procedure done in January of this year—and it certainly was not cheap. As Rosie revealed in a May 25 Substack post, “It cost more money than I have ever paid for a car.”

And that wasn’t her only hesitation about going under the knife, admitting that she used to feel “very strongly about facelifts.”

“Not casually—morally,” Rosie wrote. “I had assigned myself as head of all women who would never – ever.”

“I thought it was a betrayal,” she continued. “Of feminism. Of aging. Of our team of women worldwide.”

However, after the 64-year-old lost 50 pounds, she joked that her face looked like it was “melting with intention.” 

“I tried to be evolved about it. And say things like, ‘This is natural. This is earned,’” Rosie admitted. “And then… ‘umm how earned does it have to look?’ There’s a point where acceptance starts to feel like lying.”
