The merger of Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery continues to change the world of streaming. The billion-dollar deal has given Skydance control of streaming platforms like HBO Max, Discovery+, and Pluto TV. This November, Skydance added a significant number of movies and TV shows from Warner Bros. Discovery to Pluto TV, according to Cord Cutter News.
Pluto TV has already added certain titles and channels from Warner Bros. Discovery through traditional licensing agreements. But with Skydance now in control of both companies, this exchange is now simply the company distributing its content from within, making it easier to roll out new, free programming on Pluto TV.
By adding extra WBD titles and channels to its digital library, Pluto TV has received an even greater edge over subscription-based services as a free, ad-supported platform. This new selection of films, shows, and channels is now available alongside Paramount’s currently free content, including The Twilight Zone, Star Trek, and Transformers franchises.
At the same time, Pluto TV added several new Christmas and holiday-themed channels to its lineup. By pairing these installments with titles from Warner Bros. Discovery’s library, Pluto TV has given users plenty of content to stream this November.

How can I stream Pluto TV?
Watch Pluto TV anytime on your browser or device
Since Pluto TV is a free, ad-supported platform, you won’t need to have your own account in order to use it. However, you won’t be able to upgrade to an ad-free subscription. To start streaming, just go to the Pluto TV website in web browsers like Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox.
You can also stream from the Pluto TV app, now available for download on iOS or Android devices, including smartphones and tablets. Additionally, the app is accessible on Smart TVs from Samsung, LG, Hisense, Sony, Android, Google, or Roku. Streaming devices like Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku, or Chromecast can use the app as well.
Ultimately, Skydance has continued Pluto TV’s already-rapid expansion this month. With more than 400 free channels, it has become a fierce competitor to major FAST platforms like Tubi and The Roku Channel. By adding WBD titles and several holiday-themed channels, Skydance has continued to grow its stake in the streaming market, combining Pluto TV’s success with that of subscription-based services like Paramount+ and HBO Max.
