This is the adorable moment Elon Musk brought out his daughter Azure on stream at an event promoting his companies yesterday.
Four-year-old Azure is one of four children Mr Musk, 55, has with tech executive Shivon Zilis, 40, and was born in November 2021 alongside her twin, Strider.
Azure’s appearance with Mr Musk comes a week after he and Ms Zilis announced their sudden breakup.
Attending via video link at the X Takeover event at Tesla’s global headquarters in Austin, Texas, the world’s richest man was interrupted by his little daughter while talking about building the Tesla Roadster.
He turns to her off camera as she appears to come into the room and says, ‘Hey guys, I think I’ve got to sign off here’, before she pops into the screen.
The crowd cheers as Mr Musk laughs goofily and tells his daughter who they are – ‘supporters of Tesla’.
Azure just makes a noise and is met with laughter, with Mr Musk saying to her, ‘There’s like 2,000 people out there, so quite a lot of people’.
Then to the crowd: ‘I’ve got to go hang out with the kids, so I look forward to next time,’ but before he leaves, adorable Azure pushes towards the camera, mouth open with wonder at the audience.

The convention promoted Elon’s companies, Tesla and SpaceX, and focused on AI, energy, and robotics. It had several high-profile speakers, including Nicki Minaj and Elon’s mother, Maye Musk.
Last Friday, Ms Zilis issued an emotional message on social media about her and Mr Musk’s breakup, saying: ‘It’s hard to go from in love to let go in a week with no warning, but that’s how it is sometimes.’
Mr Musk has 14 known children with four different women, although his first son, Nevada Alexander, died at only 10 weeks in 2002 from sudden infant death syndrome.
He first became a father with Justine Wilson, 54. After their son’s death, the couple went on to have twins Griffin and Vivian Jenna in 2004, and then triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian in 2006. Vivian Jenna is transgender and is now estranged from Mr Musk.
Elon then had his next child, the controversially named X Æ A-Xii, with singer Grimes- real name Claire Boucher, 38- in May 2020.
Then Ms Zilis entered the scene, and Azure and her twin brother Strider were born in November 2021, only weeks before Mr Musk had his second child with Grimes via surrogate – Exa Dark Sideræl Musk.
In June 2022, Elon had his third and final child with Grimes named Techno Mechanicus.
In February 2024, Arcadia Musk was born, the trillionaire’s third child with Ms Zilis, followed by their fourth – Mr Musk’s most recent child, Seldon Lycurgus – in February 2025.
Mr Musk also had baby Romulus with MAGA influencer Ashley St. Clair, 28, between Arcadia and Seldon Lycurgus in September 2024.

Grimes’s legal dispute with Mr Musk ended in August 2024, the result of which was kept confidential. But a now-deleted social media post by the singer appeared to reveal she had custody of the children every other week

His children with Ms St. Clair and Grimes have been the subject of bitter public custody battles.
In September 2023, Grimes and Mr Musk went to court in a multi-million-dollar case over their three children X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus.
Mr Musk filed a lawsuit in Texas to establish a parent-child relationship, but Grimes countersued in California seeking physical custody.
The conflicting state jurisdictions added to the complexity of the issue, but the battle was ended in August 2024.
While the final arrangement was kept confidential, Grimes appeared to imply she has custody of the children every other week in a now-deleted social media post.
She had told her followers on X: ‘It’s my week without my kids so if u wanna get responses from me it’s now or every second week after this.’
Ms St. Clair also took Mr Musk to court in a custody battle over their son Romulus in February 2025, which is still ongoing.
Ms St. Clair filed for sole custody five months after he was born.
Last month, she publicly claimed she turned down a $40million non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to not take part in an upcoming documentary about Mr Musk, saying in the New York Times, ‘my children’s dignity is not a commodity’.
Mr Musk denied offering the sum, but noted he does provide financial support to her and Romulus.
He has now countersued for full custody of Romulus in January this year after Ms St Clair announced support of the trans community.
He wrote on X: ‘I will be filing for full custody today, given her statements implying she might transition a one-year-old boy.’
Ms St Clair denies she said this.
The friction came when Ms St Clair posted a public apology on X over past comments she made about Romulus’s half-sister, Vivian Jenna Wilson – Mr Musk’s estranged transgender daughter – and pledged support for the trans community.
