Susannah Constantine has made her allegiance in the Beckham family feud crystal clear – by blacking out Victoria’s name from her sunglasses.
While larking about in the back of a black cab with her former What Not To Wear co-host Trinny Woodall, the pair discussed Susannah’s oversized Victoria Beckham-branded shades.
‘Darling, love your sunglasses,’ said Trinny, in a knowing tone.
‘Aren’t they great. They’re so comfortable,’ Susannah replied, before revealing there was one thing she had removed from them: the designer’s name. ‘You can’t see that, can you, because I Tippexed it off,’ she admitted, laughing.
It’s not the first time Susannah has made her thoughts known about the Beckham family debacle. When Brooklyn broke his silence on the family rift with a lengthy Instagram statement in January 2026, Susannah publicly declared herself #TeamBrooklyn.
‘Can’t believe I’m posting this. But for the record I’m #teambrooklyn @brooklynpeltzbeckham,’ she wrote, adding: ‘This young couple’s love for each other is one of the few things that is real, deep and un-manufactured.’
Her striking words were a staunch show of support for Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola, amid their estrangement from his parents.
Susannah’s show of affection is particularly interesting given her connection to the family: her daughter Esme and Brooklyn both have Sir Elton John as a godfather.

It appears that Sir Elton has subtly made his allegiances clear, too. The singer and his husband David Furnish have wined and dined Brooklyn and Nicola over the summer in Nice, but did not extend the same hospitality to their old friends, David and Victoria.
Dazzling night at the museum for George and Amal
In a glittering Gucci gold gown, Amal Clooney stands by husband George to welcome A-lister pals to their black-tie charity gala, The Albies, at the Natural History Museum in London. Among the guests at Friday’s soiree were Brad Pitt and his girlfriend Ines de Ramon, below, Vogue supremo Dame Anna Wintour and Oscar winner Dame Emma Thompson.

But conspicuous by their absence were the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The couple invited the Clooneys to their wedding in 2018 and enjoyed a secret break at the Clooneys’ villa in Italy. But the friendship has reportedly cooled since. A friend of the Sussexes tells me Meghan was ‘at home’ on Friday, while Harry was watching rugby in Leicester.
Having Princess Diana as your aunt does not always open doors for twins Lady Eliza and Lady Amelia Spencer – whose titles often fall on deaf ears. ‘We go through the airport in Cape Town and they think our first name is Lady,’ Amelia told Vanity Fair.
Glow like Naomi!
Naomi Campbell memorably remarked ‘black don’t crack’ when asked if she used Botox. Now I can reveal that the supermodel is set to help others achieve a similarly youthful glow, with her own skincare brand.

The 56-year-old, left, told former BBC journalist Zeinab Badawi about her potentially lucrative venture – to be launched next year – at Vogue College of Fashion last week. Naomi also had some advice for the students, saying: ‘Always remember the people who were kind to you early in your career.’ Wise words!
I imagine Doctor Who writer Russell T. Davies, 63, has been reminded of the age gap between himself and Oliver Cole, now his toyboy is heading back to school. The Australian, 27, is embarking on a three-year BA in acting at London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
Oliver tells me: ‘I can’t wait to start – acting is all I’ve ever dreamed of doing and this is going to be the best place to learn.’ While Oliver’s acting CV is still thin, Russell has treated him to a spin in the Tardis on the Doctor Who set, sparking misplaced talk he could be the next Time Lord.
(Very) Modern Manners
Classical singer Katherine Jenkins is trying to raise sartorial standards in the West End, where even opera-goers will turn up in grotty T-shirts and jeans. The Welsh mezzo-soprano, 46, has asked those due to attend her concert at the London Palladium this week to make an effort with their outfits.
A message emailed to ticket-holders says: ‘To make the evening extra special, Katherine is inviting guests to “dress to impress”. While there’s no formal dress code, there’ll be a special prize for the best dressed guest on the night, so why not make an occasion of it?’
