It’s that time of the year again – the transfer window is now open until September 1 and it’s sure to be a busy period with clubs looking to make big signings ahead of next season.

However, the Italians’ valuation of the Congo international, who impressed at the World Cup, falls short of that of West Ham.

Roma are weighing up a new offer for West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville.
The Italians had a bid worth £39million rejected over the weekend and West Ham want around £50m.
The Netherlands international is open to joining Roma but has interest from Premier League clubs, too.

Roma also have Chelsea’s Alejandro Garnacho on their wanted list. They have so far offered a loan with obligation for the Argentine and Chelsea want a £40m permanent.

Matt Targett on the road to Hull – as they target Leon Bailey
Hull City are closing on the signing of former Newcastle United left-back Matt Targett.
The 30-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough is a free agent and has had interest from West Ham and Norwich City.

Targett is expected to undergo a medical prior to signing a two year deal and will join Sergej Jakirovic’s squad for their pre-season training camp in Slovenia, which begins on Monday.
Hull remain on course to sign Sweden international left-back Elliot Stroud from Mjallby for £3m too.
Aston Villa winger Leon Bailey is another on Hull City’s list.
The Jamaica international also has Celta Vigo and Trabzonspor interested in signing him.
