The GMKtec EVO-X2 is a compact AI-centric mini PC built around the AMD Ryzen™ AI Max+ 395 APU, featuring 16 cores and 32 threads on TSMC’s 4 nm process with boost clocks up to 5.1 GHz. Its integrated Radeon 8060S GPU (40 compute units, RDNA 3.5) and XDNA 2 NPU deliver up to 50 TOPS of AI inferencing, positioning it among the most powerful iGPUs available. The EVO-X2 ships in configurations with onboard LPDDR5X memory—64 GB or 128 GB at 8 000 MHz—and PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 SSD storage options of 1 TB or 2 TB, with a second M.2 slot supporting up to 8 TB more for a total of 16 TB. This fixed-memory design optimizes performance for demanding workloads such as large-language-model processing and content creation while maintaining unit coherence.

Measuring 193 × 185.8 × 77 mm in a CNC-machined metal chassis with sand-blasted finish, the EVO-X2 integrates a dual-blower cooling system and 230 W power supply to sustain its 120–140 W TDP under load. Front- and rear-facing I/O include USB4 (40 Gbps), USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, USB-A 2.0, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, SD 4.0 reader, 2.5 GbE LAN, and a 3.5 mm audio jack, alongside Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Preinstalled with Windows 11 Pro and supporting major x86 operating systems, the EVO-X2 offers AI acceleration for local LLMs up to 70 billion parameters, making it suitable for portable workstations in gaming, professional, and enterprise contexts.
