Frightening dashcam footage captured the moment two cars collided on a motorway, causing one to roll across three lanes before coming to a stop.

The video shared by Dashcam Owners Australia showed a white Nissan sedan suddenly swerving into the left lane of the Pacific Motorway in Brisbane and hitting a grey Nissan SUV shortly after 1pm on Friday.

The SUV was thrown over the sedan’s bonnet and rolled across three lanes before finally coming to a rest in the right-most lane.

Other motorists slammed on their brakes as debris flew through the air and, miraculously, none of the occupants had major injuries.

The driver of the sedan was seen getting out of the vehicle, stopping just short of the Underwood Rd underpass.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman confirmed to the Courier Mail that fire crews attended the crash at Eight Mile Plains, south Brisbane, about 1.15pm.

The occupants were already out of their cars and crews left the scene about 20 minutes later.

The driver of the white sedan, a 41-year-old Morningside man, and the driver of the SUV, a 73-year-old Surfers Paradise woman, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Queensland Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
