“I Went off on Some Terrible Tirade,”- Liev Schreiber Addresses Outburst at ‘Nocturne’ Premiere With an Apology

Liev Schreiber has apologised for the shocking incident involving an unnamed reporter. The actor previously caught attention for all the wrong reasons at the premiere of his Apple TV series Nocturne. He reportedly scolded a reporter after being asked a question about the series.

However, the actor has not stayed silent on the matter. He has recently opened up about what caused the entire bizarre situation and what happened following the incident. Along with that, he has also apologised.

Liev Schreiber apologises for Nocturne Red Carpet incident

Liev Schreiber recently appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers, where he addressed the red carpet incident. The actor joked that he might not be the “best person” for the press line. He explained that the reporter’s question asking him to describe the show in “three words” quickly felt redundant and confusing, leaving him stumped and leading him to lash out.

“I went off on some terrible tirade about monkeys and profanity, and I apologize,” he said.

The actor also revealed during the interview that his mother follows his career through the news online and later called him to ask if he had stirred up any trouble. Schreiber admitted that, this time, he “had a moment.” During the red carpet interview, the actor had scolded the reporter over her question and urged her to talk to people as if they mattered. However, he admitted that both were able to get past the awkward moment and had a great conversation.

“But the truth is, yeah, mea culpa, I had a moment,” he said.

With the unexpected incident involving the actor and the reporter aside, the focus now turns to the series Nocturne.
