The killer of an Army vet was viciously beaten by a grieving father-in-law who seized his moment and pounced before a judge locked away his son’s murderer for life.

Video from the sentencing in Phoenix, Arizona, captured the chaos as Alberto Sanchez, 55, landed at least four punches to the back of the murderer’s head before the two were separated.

Abel Uribe, 33, was quickly shuffled away in Maricopa County court, where he appeared on Wednesday to learn his fate.

Moments earlier, Sanchez had delivered an emotional speech about his 27-year-old son, David Navidad-Parra. 

While walking back to his seat, Sanchez said he snapped and ‘lost’ control after hearing Uribe snicker and laugh at his victim impact statement, Fox 10 reported.

Police officers rushed to stop Sanchez as he attempted to charge towards Uribe again, as captured on video.

Uribe was in court to be sentenced to life in prison for the brutal killing of Navidad-Parra in 2022. 

Navidad-Parra was reported missing that December after meeting Uribe for a test drive of a car that the Army vet was trying to sell. He was later found dead, while the vehicle was found burnt to a crisp elsewhere.

David Navidad-Parra had met Uribe for a test drive after the killer had shown an interest in buying a car from him in 2022. Uribe robbed the young man and murdered him

Uribe, who was arrested after using Navidad-Parra’s credit card, ultimately pleaded guilty to first-degree murder, according to Fox10. 

Following the brawl, Sanchez was arrested and made his own courtroom appearance on charges of aggravated assault of a bound or restrained victim, and fighting and interfering with a judicial proceeding, Fox10 said.

Sanchez’s lawyer Christian Lueders told the court that the emotional father-in-law had no prior criminal history and worked full-time to support his children and grandchildren.

‘He’s been a model citizen for his entire life,’ Lueders told the judge.

Judge Kristin Culbertson said she was ‘sympathetic’ to Sanchez’s situation, but added: ‘You attacked somebody in a courtroom, and now you’re asking the court to be lenient on you?’

‘I personally can’t imagine the emotions that you must have been feeling today, but we cannot tolerate that kind of conduct in court,’ Judge Culbertson said.

Sanchez was later released on his own recognizance.
