David Beckham welcomes Harry Kane & Co to his Inter Miami base as Romeo and Cruz watch training on eve of England’s World Cup quarter-final clash with Norway

England were shown around Inter Miami’s training facilities by David Beckham as Thomas Tuchel’s side continue preparations for Saturday’s World Cup quarter-final clash with Norway.

England flew from their Kansas City base to Florida on Friday and immediately headed to Fort Lauderdale for their final training session.

The Three Lions take on their Scandinavian opponents in Miami (10pm, BST) with a place against either current champions Argentina or Switzerland awaiting in the semi-finals on Wednesday.

And ahead of the quarter-final showdown, England enjoyed a training session at Inter Miami’s base – with the MLS club co-owned by Beckham.

Former England captain Beckham, who won 115 caps for his country – with 58 of those as skipper, enjoyed a chat with current successor Harry Kane before training.

And when the session did start, Beckham watched on from the sidelines alongside two of his sons Romeo and Cruz.

Another person onlooking was injured midfielder Jordan Henderson who had his left arm in a cast.

The 36-year-old has been ruled out of the rest of the World Cup after breaking his wrist in a freak accident in the aftermath of England’s 3-2 last-16 victory in the last 16.

On Friday he was seen sat with England head coach Thomas Tuchel and members of the backroom staff as his team-mates were put through their paces.

There was good news though, as Marc Guehi, Reece James and Declan Rice – who were all absent from Wednesday’s session at Swope Soccer Village as they worked on individual programmes – were all back in action with the rest of the group.
