Seriously, these pics are unbelievably beautiful!!! What a way to unveil your pregnancy. Wow.
The news is incredibly exciting for all kinds of reasons, not least because of Barbara’s history with endometriosis, which can impact fertility.
According to the World Health Organization, endometriosis affects an estimated 10% (190 million) of reproductive-age women worldwide. Despite this, there is undoubtedly a lack of awareness about the condition, which currently has no known cure.
Less than a year ago, in August 2025, Barbara revealed in a personal Instagram post that she had undergone life-changing surgery for endometriosis.
Opening up about her diagnosis, Barbara wrote that she had been dealing with “fatigue, severe pain, heavy and irregular flow,” and “sleepless nights on the bathroom floor” for a long time. “I’ve been going to checkups to my gynecologist every year, I thought if I had endometriosis I would have known about it by now,” she wrote. “But as it turns out, endometriosis can’t be diagnosed with general examinations.”
Barbara said that she was advised to see an “endometriosis specialist,” and three months later, she had an operation that greatly improved her symptoms. “I finally experienced a period that was easier, and now I know the difference. If you suspect that you could have endometriosis I encourage you to find it out,” she continued. “It helped me a lot, and I’m grateful I did it. Early diagnosis and treatment are very important to prevent long-term complications, and now I’m more mindful about my body to act fast if needed.”
Barbara and Dylan have both used their platforms to raise awareness for endometriosis and the painful complications it can cause. Now, in light of the couple’s exciting pregnancy news, people with endometriosis are speaking out about how great it is to see her healthy, thriving, and pregnant!
“As a fellow endometriosis gal, super happy for them! Hope she has a healthy pregnancy and baby!” one Reddit user wrote, echoed by someone else who added, “As someone who struggles with endometriosis, this is really amazing to hear 💕 I wish them all the best!!”
Another endo sufferer wrote, “Before I had a baby, it always made me feel better seeing others with endo get pregnant.”
“Endo is a bitch. I’m SO GLAD her surgery went well and they’re pregnant 🩷,” added someone else. “It’s no joke and I wish more people knew about it.”
“Endo is such a heartbreaking disease that can affect the body in so many horrible ways. It truly needs more research and awareness,” another user wrote, before shouting out celebs like Barbara, Lili Reinhart, and Bindi Irwin, who’ve all talked publicly about their experiences with the condition.
Congrats, Barbara and Dylan!!! Here’s to a happy and healthy pregnancy — and more stunning bump fashion!
