Amazon’s big Prime Day sales event for 2025 is now just two weeks away, and we’re starting to see promotions tricking onto the scene in real time. Popular audiobook streaming service Audible is swinging out of the gate in full force, with a tempting limited-time offer for prospective subscribers who also happen to be Amazon Prime members.

In particular, new Audible subscribers are being offered three months of the service’s Premium Plus plan for $3 per month — a massive discount over the standard $15 per month price point of the Premium Plus subscription tier. For reference, a base-tier Audible Plus subscription starts at $7.95 per month.

Aside from full access to Audible’s massive digital catalog of audiobooks, including original content, Premium Plus unlocks a major perk in the form of a once-per-month opportunity to claim an audiobook for free. These monthly credits are great in that they allow you to keep your audiobook file even if you cancel your subscription to the streaming service. In other words, for $3 per month for the first three months, you’ll be getting permanent access to a total of three audiobooks.

This Audible deal is on offer until July 31 of this year, which means it’ll outlast Amazon Prime Day itself. It’s worth nothing that, as with most subscription services, you’ll be automatically billed at full price ($15 per month) going forward if you choose not to cancel your membership prior to surpassing the three-month promotional period.

The event generally takes place in July, and this year is no different: despite having ‘Day’ in its name, Prime Day 2025 is taking place on Tuesday, July 8 through Friday, July 11.
