A drunken Brit aboard a flight to Australia has admitted to pulling down her underwear and exposing herself to stunned passengers.
Sarah Parker, 30, defied instructions from the aircraft’s pilot by leaving her seat and using the bathroom during take-off from Birmingham Airport.
She then removed her shorts and underwear before standing in the aisle where fellow passengers could see her in full sight.
The incident, which occurred on July 24 last year, happened aboard TUI flight TOM 664 from Birmingham to Melbourne.
Parker, of Halifax in West Yorkshire, appeared at Manchester Magistrates Court, where she pleaded guilty to one count of outraging public decency.
The charge stated Parker behaved indecently by ‘pulling down her shorts and underwear, squatting and exposing her vagina in full view of other passengers’.
She also pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the pilot’s instructions and being intoxicated on a plane.
This charge read Parker ‘failed to obey a lawful command namely sitting sitting in her seat after being instructed to do so and making her way to the toilet’.
Of the incident, District judge Simon Blakebrough told Parker: ‘Exposing yourself on a plane full of passengers is quite serious’.
Sentencing has been adjourned until November 3.
