Australian rock music journalist Glenn A Baker dies


Popular Australian rock music journalist and broadcaster Glenn A Baker has died aged 74.

Baker’s friend and musician Stuart Coupe confirmed the news on Friday morning.

‘This is a post that I was hoping I wouldn’t be making for a considerable period of time but after an illness Glenn A Baker passed away earlier this morning. I’m beyond sad,’ he wrote on social media.

Baker was involved in a research project during the 1970s which saw the formation of 2JJ and later became triple j.

He hosted a trivia program on the station and later moved to Triple M.
