In a video shared on Instagram, Buddy gave fans a look inside the studio as he explained that he’s been working on a few songs for an upcoming project, but felt like something was missing — specifically, some “feminine energy.”

The clip then cuts to Zonnique posted up in a black hoodie and headphones, laying down background vocals behind the mic after her brother asked his “NiqeNiqe” to come through. Zonnique also gave the camera some sisterly love, saying, “I love my rockstar brother.”

The sibling love continued on social media, with a series of images showing Zonnique and Buddy Red looking happy and comfortable in the studio.
