Zoë Kravitz doesn’t want art imitating life this particular time.
Amid speculation the High Fidelity star quietly got engaged to Harry Styles, she responded directly to Hulu for posting about the series with a reference to her partner.
In an April 27 Instagram post, the streamer shared a set of stills from High Fidelity—which was cancelled by the streamer in 2020 after one season—writing, “Robyn Brooks definitely has Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally on her playlist.”
Days later, Kravitz clapped back in a May 6 comment, writing, “This is tacky.”
E! News has reached out to Hulu for comment and has not yet heard back.
Indeed, back when her series based on the 2000 John Cusack movie of the same name was cancelled, Kravitz did not hide her disappointment in the streamer’s decision.
“It’s cool,” Kravitz wrote in an Instagram comment at the time. “At least Hulu has a ton of other shows starring women of color we can watch. Oh wait.”
