Back in June, Deadline revealed that Marvel Studios will officially launch
the highly anticipated superhero re-release,
Avengers: Endgame Encore, on
September 25, 2026. Executives announced that this specialized version will
feature a custom introduction, brand-new footage, and an exclusive end tag. The
sequence will lead directly into
Avengers: Doomsday.

The unique presentation will introduce Infinity Vision, a
brand-new premium large-format screening standard developed directly by Disney.
Over 7500 international theatre screens have already submitted formal
applications to secure this highly coveted official technical certification. This
new promotional strategy specifically highlights non-IMAX, 4DX, and Dolby
layouts, which will still receive traditional marketing support.

According to Deadline, premium screens are incredibly
lucrative, often accounting for 40% of a major blockbuster’s opening-weekend box-office draw. The corporate distribution team officially shared
these new details during a major entertainment convention held in Barcelona. Disney
also formally launched an official ticket landing page today to manage the
massive influx of consumer orders.

Theatre operators must meet exceptionally strict
presentation criteria to legally display the premium studio branding.

Cinemark chief executive praises Disney

Cinemark chief executive officer Sean G***** praised the
studio (Disney) strategy, stating that the collective industry has a meaningful
opportunity to simplify how they promote premium large-format experiences to
consumers. This collaborative effort will directly prepare global markets for
the
upcoming December release of Avengers: Doomsday.

“We commend Disney for taking an important first step toward
advancing this objective and look forward to collaborating with them and our
broader industry partners to align on a unifying PLF brand and set of
standards,” said Gamble in a statement reported by Deadline. The rigorous screening standards ensure that audiences experience unmatched audiovisual clarity during the cinematic
presentation.
