Travis Kelce was pictured arriving at Arrowhead Stadium for a historic day in his NFL career as the Kansas City Chiefs look to get back to winning ways.
The tight end strolled into the bowels of the stadium in the hours before their game against the New York Jets wearing a navy and black bomber jacket with black trousers and sneakers. He also wore a baseball cap and sunglasses.
It is a special day for Kelce, 37, because he will play in his 200th NFL game after coming into the league out of the University of Cincinnati in 2013.
The Chiefs have not played at their home stadium since October 18, when they easily saw off the Los Angeles Chargers 22-6
Kansas City started the season with five straight wins, nearly matching their entire total from last season, when their run of three consecutive Super Bowl appearances came crashing down with a forgettable six-win campaign.
But they have lost both of their last two games – on the road against the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos – and need to get back to winning ways.

It remains to be seen whether or not Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift, will be in the stands on Sunday to celebrate the special occasion.
The pop superstar doesn’t seem to travel to watch Kelce when he plays on the road anymore but has been a regular presence at Arrowhead so far this season.
During her last trip to watch Kelce, Swift appeared to snap at a fan who was trying to film her and pleaded with them to stop.
The 14-time Grammy winner appeared to become frustrated with a woman sat in the row of seats just in front of her suite during the game against the Chargers.
While the action was unfolding on the field, the woman turned around and took out her phone to either film Swift or take a photo of her.
Swift quickly realized what she was doing and appeared to gesture to the woman to stop filming her and focus on the game instead.
A man sat a few seats along, who Swift’s online fans have claimed is a member of her security detail, then addressed the woman and appeared to ask her to turn around and put her phone away.
Despite steady production from Kelce through their first seven games of the season, he has not scored a touchdown since Week 3.
The three-time Super Bowl champion has 29 catches for 410 yards and two touchdowns this season.

Kelce made an honest admission about the refereeing in their loss to the Broncos last week and, in the process, completely undermined Brittany Mahomes’s blistering attack on the officials.
The Chiefs thought they had scored a game-winning touchdown pass after Patrick Mahomes found Rashee Rice in the end zone.
But lineman Jaylon Moore was penalized for a false start, forcing the Chiefs back to the six-yard line before Mahomes was sacked on fourth down, handing the Broncos a wild 28-24 win, and Kansas City’s second loss of the season.
Mahomes’s wife Brittany immediately launched a furious attack at the referees on social media to her 2.1 million followers.
‘You can’t tell me you call that on a game winning [touchdown],’ she wrote. ‘Oh wait yeah I can cause it’s us. That was the weakest call I have ever seen, you can’t tell me otherwise.’
In this week’s episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast, brother Jason Kelce said: ‘A lot of people are saying this wasn’t a penalty; I’m going to go on record and say that this is definitely a penalty.’
Travis agreed, replying: ‘Yeah, he flinches’ before pointing out that they still had a chance to win the game that they didn’t take.
‘At the end of the day, we still had another play,’ Travis said. ‘I’ll take my guy Pat Mahomes on the six-yard line with the game on the line.
‘I’ll take that any day of the week. So we gotta execute at the end even more. We can’t let the penalty absolutely deflate us and not let us execute at the end of the game.’
Patrick Mahomes also shared a similar – albeit less direct – sentiment to his wife after the game, suggesting he did not agree with the call.
‘It couldn’t have been big, but it was called,’ Mahomes told reporters after the game.
‘At the end of the day, you have to go with whatever is called, but a lot of times in those big moments, the little stuff doesn’t get called like that.’
