A train derailment near a New Mexico golf course left a massive pile up of train cars Tuesday afternoon.

Video showed the freight train at a halt near the course, which is located in Santa Rosa, about 118 miles east of Albuquerque. 

The cause of the crash is not yet clear and it hasn’t been revealed if there are any injuries.

The Daily Mail has reached out to the New Mexico State Police for comment. 

The derailment is the second such incident in the state this past month, after 50 cars went off the rails on August 1 in Hidalgo County, KOB reported. 

Fire officials believed high winds and visibility issues from a nearby dust storm may have caused that derailment. There was no threat to the public.
