The New York Knicks are going to shoot their shot at an NBA championship.
The team is advancing to the finals after securing the Eastern Conference title during Game 4 against the Cleveland Cavaliers on May 25. This marks the Knicks’ first finals appearance since 1999, and they got an assist in celebrating from their dedicated fans.
Of course, this includes Timothée Chalamet. The Oscar nominee—who has been sitting courtside with his girlfriend, reality star Kylie Jenner, throughout the playoffs—hugged and congratulated the players after the big win. And while fans may call him by his name, the team calls Chalamet the “Knicks’ biggest hype man.”
And he proved the nickname holds true following the milestone moment.
“Knicks to the motherf–king finals,” Chalamet wrote on Instagram Stories after the victory, “that’s it.”
Tracy Morgan was also in the zone when it came to soaking in the moment. In fact, a video shared by ESPN showed the comedian crying tears of joy. Superfans Spike Lee, Fat Joe and Ben Stiller were having a ball too.
“It’s 1 am,” the Zoolander alum wrote on X, “KNICKS ARE EASTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPS.”
