Facebook posting because I’m crashing out and want to scream into the void. Marriage of 15+ years is finally over. It’s been rocky for a bit now. Wife has multiple mental illnesses and has been off her meds trying to get better with healthy alternatives like meditating, journaling, talk therapy, smoking weed nonstop, and having an echo chamber of recently divorced friends telling her all men are garbage. Her reasoning for throwing it all away is because she doesn’t feel respected because I’m constantly questioning her decisions. But recently she’s been making nonstop, absolutely ******* stupid decisions. She vehemently refused any sort of marriage counseling and just wants to walk away but insisted we’ll ‘still be friends and she’ll love me forever’ It’s been really hard not to become jaded but I’ve hated her friends for a while. They were cheating on their husbands and always had a reason to feel justified doing it. Now I’m just losing hope with women in general. I thought my wife was one of the good ones for a while but less than a year of being in a toxic female echo chamber has ruined a huge chunk of my life. I dunno how the **** I’m going to try dating at this point. About ready to say hey guys guess that’s it.
