The beloved mother of five who was brutally murdered in broad daylight by three other women shared a hauntingly cryptic message just days before, the Daily Mail can reveal. 

Caroline ‘Caro’ Pena, 32, died on Thursday after she was stabbed multiple times in an attack by three women in Del Rio, Texas. 

Kitty Mia Diaz, 21, her sister, Amaya ‘Cookie’ Diaz, 19, and their friend, Kyandra Renee Faz, 21, were arrested shortly after, and filmed smiling as cops took them away in handcuffs. 

Each of the three women have been charged with murder in Pena’s death and are likely to remain in jail as they each have a $5 million bond, according to criminal complaints. 

Police have yet to release a motive for the attack, however a relative of the victim told Daily Mail that the women did know each other. 

Leading up to her death, Pena appeared to ask for help online.

In a video pinned to the top of her Facebook profile June 11, Pena shared a video prayer.

‘May God protect me from what my eyes don’t see and what my ears don’t hear,’ the clip states in Spanish.

Two weeks later, Pena was stabbed and beat up allegedly by the three women.

According to court documents, Pena went to the house of one of attackers June 25 on the 800 block of E. 10th Street in Del Rio- Faz’s residence.

It’s unclear why Pena went to the home, however, the entire confrontation was caught on surveillance video.

The footage was reviewed by police who say Pena arrived at the house in a black Dodge pickup truck.

‘Shortly after, a black Chrysler 300 arrives on scene, to which Amaya and Kitty exit and confront Carolina,’ the complaint states.

‘Within the video footage, Amaya is observed with an object believed to be a knife in her right hand. Amaya and Carolina get into an altercation, and Amaya is observed striking Carolina in the back, where blood can be observed on the back of her shirt,’ the complaint reads.

Kitty and Faz later joined in assaulting Pena, police alleged. After that, all four women separated and left. Pena later died at the hospital.

Amaya smirked and smiled alongside her sister as they were taken into custody.

Other revealing posts from Pena’s Facebook also include a claim that she was high. 

(‘Facebook) be wildin, I’m to h!gh for this, s**t got me cracking up,’ Pena commented while sharing someone else post June 10.

‘There are women, that by just looking at their faces, you can tell their (privates) smell bad.’ the post states in Spanish.

Other public posts by Pena appear to take indirect swipes at unknown people.

‘ I don’t care if you don’t like me,’ another post says in Spanish. ‘In fact, hate me with all your might, bi**h.’

Pena’s uncle told the Daily Mail that his family has known the family of his nieces attackers for 20 years. 

‘It’s a small town. I knew one of their uncles. Their family, everyone has a connection, so it’s even harder. I worked with (the uncle) 30 years. They were close to us. What can you do,’ the unnamed uncle said in a phone interview with the Daily Mail from Del Rio. 

In the wake of her death, Pena’s friends are sharing tributes to their fallen friend.

‘I’m sharing the last photo you sent me babygirl,’ posted Jaime Amanda Cline. ‘I am so proud of the woman, mother and friend that you were. I will cherish our last conversation. It was full of laughs and love. Caro Pena I love you. Rest in peace Mami.’

Meanwhile, at least one of Pena’s alleged attackers is also a mother. 

Kitty Diaz’s TikTok account is filled with images of her and her young son.

Videos show her toddler-age boy kissing his mother.

In other posts, she talks about her search for love. 

‘I’ve always wondered what it felt like to be loved unconditionally loved,’ a video Kitty shared June 12. 

It shows a picture of her son with the caption, ‘Now I know what it feels like.’
