Taylor Swift may have been a child when she fell in love with Toy Story, but she put on her big-girl pants to write a song for the franchise’s latest installment, Toy Story 5.

Okay — we don’t know exactly what she wore while writing the tune (called “I Knew It, I Knew You,” out June 5), but we do know that the singer, 36, recently leaned into business-casual with a pair of pleated pants during a meeting in New York City.

In addition to embodying Swift’s usual sophisticated style, the pants had a loose silhouette that would be comfy for sitting through long discussions.

And while Taylor doesn’t have to sit at an office all day, many of us do. That’s why we’re taking her cue to pick up similar pants that are work-appropriate, enjoyable to wear, and worth pulling out on weekends.

While these high-waisted pants look like your average work slacks from the front, they have a hidden elastic waistband in the back, meaning you won’t regret your fashion choices after a long luncheon. They also have a fluid, wide-leg cut that’s about as comfortable as a pair of pajamas, noted one reviewer.

An increasing number of celebrities are wearing dress pants while out and about, which means you can rep them out of the office, too. Style them with a cropped button-up and heels for your 9-to-5, then trade them out for a T-shirt and sneakers once you’re off the clock.

You either love pleats or you hate them, but it’s worth noting that these particular pants are  “very slimming at the waist,” according to one shopper. Even better? They’re now $55 off. They have a straight-leg silhouette, which often looks more streamlined than baggier styles, and they’re currently available in five colors, as well as in sizes 00 to 18.

While these work pants aren’t an exact color match, they are the top seller in Amazon’s Women's Wear to Work Pants & Capris section — and that more than makes up for it in our eyes. Multiple reviewers say they look “expensive,” feel “comfortable,” and look “flattering,” which only makes us want them more.

They also come in multiple lengths, including an inseam that is “perfect for tall women,” according to one shopper, which is something we think Taylor, who’s 5-foot-10, would appreciate!
