Will Prince William Be Attending Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s Wedding? He Says…
It’s nice to have a friend in Taylor Swift.
The “Opalite” singer is officially set drop a new song, “I Knew It, I Knew You” June 5 for Toy Story 5 after months of fan speculation she was somehow involved in the Pixar film, which hits theaters June 19.
“It’s a *Toy* Story,” Swift wrote in a June 1 Instagram post. “You knew it! My new original song ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’ for Disney and @pixar’s @toystory 5 will be yours on June 5th. I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5 year old kid watching the first Toy Story movie.”
Swift continued, “I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening. Sometimes you just know, right?”
It’s been a very long time coming for Swift’s role in the upcoming Disney film—which is also set to star Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack in their beloved roles of Woody, Buzz and Jessie—to be revealed.
In April, a countdown clock adorned with Toy Story-like font and animated clouds appeared on Swift’s website for a brief 10-minute period. At the time, the clock hinted at something occurring on May 1, but it was taken down before reaching the end of timer—and nothing happened.
