The TV show judge who previously sentenced OJ Simpson to prison has died at the age of 70.

Former Clark County Judge Jackie Glass, who replaced Nancy Grace as the host of the show Swift Justice, died Friday afternoon in Las Vegas, according to TMZ. 

Glass sentenced Simpson to 33 years in prison in 2008 after he was convicted for armed robbery and kidnapping. 

She is also known for having succeeded Grace from 2011 to 2012 as the host of the TV court show’s final season.

Her role on the show was supported by eight years of experience on Nevada’s Eighth Judicial District Court starting in 2003 until her retirement.

Glass is survived by her husband, Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson, and daughters municipal court judge Rebecca Wolfson and stuntwoman Rachel Wolfson. 

‘Rip my rock, I don’t know how I’ll do this life without you,’ Rachel posted on social media Friday night. ‘I love you so much mommy, I’ll see you again someday.’ 

Glass had most recently worked as a mediator for Advanced Resolution Management, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley wrote on X that she was ‘heartbroken’ at Glass’ death, writing that she felt like she had ‘lost a sister.’

‘We both started practicing law close to the same time and over the last 50 years I have been amazed to see everything she accomplished,’ Berkley said.
