Suspect Identified In Alleged Bronx Balcony Push


Roommates, a Bronx community is grieving the tragic loss of 23-year-old Nathaly Ramirez after she was allegedly pushed from a 15th-floor apartment balcony. Ramirez was reportedly holding her 8-month-old daughter when the incident occurred. Sadly, Ramirez lost her life, while her baby girl remains in critical condition. Now, police believe they have identified a potential suspect in her death, her ex-boyfriend, 31-year-old Angel Carrasco.

Details On The Tragic Death Of A Young Mother

According to reports, authorities discovered Nathaly Ramirez injured outside her Bronx apartment building shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6. Nathaly passed away after paramedics rushed her to the hospital. Investigators believe her motherly instincts kicked in as she tried to shield her 8-month-old daughter from the impact. PIX11 reports that authorities found Nathaly lying on the ground behind the building on 2550 Olinville Avenue with her baby in her arms after the 15-story fall. A witness told the outlet she heard a woman scream, “Please don’t do this! Look at my baby’s face,” before she saw something fall to the ground.

Authorities Identify Potential Suspect In Connection To Nathaly Ramirez’s Death

Just a day after Nathaly’s tragic passing, the NYPD identified a person of interest in connection with her death. Police are now searching for 31-year-old Angel Carrasco, whom investigators believe is Ramirez’s ex-boyfriend and alleged father of her child. Per ABC7 New York, surveillance footage captured a man leaving the Bronx apartment building Tuesday night. Photos show the male wearing a yellow hoodie, headphones and a tan-colored backpack.

Nathaly’s Death Leaves Loved Ones Heartbroken

Nathaly Ramirez worked as a consultant at Lishawn’s Consulting. The company’s CEO, Lishawn Alexander, spoke exclusively with PEOPLE and shared that the team is grieving her loss tremendously. Alexander also described Nathaly as a ray of light and a pleasure to work with. “Nathaly Ramirez was a gem to work with,” Lishawn Alexander said. “She was a very radiant person. She was very hardworking, showed tenacity and dedication to pursue her career goals.”

Additionally, a friend of Nathaly’s told ABC7 New York that anyone who knew her knew that she was a devoted mother. “She was very happy like she was very happy to be a mom. She’s a new mom and the baby was very happy,” the friend reportedly stated.
