Profanity Jam specializes in creating habanero pepper-based jellies that combine spicy and fruity flavors. The brand introduced itself to spicy food fans with its Original Habanero Jelly, Habanero Berry Jelly and Cherry Habanero Jelly, and has since launched a trio of tropical flavors matching the heat of habanero with pineapple, passionfruit and blood orange.
Although Profanity Jam prides itself on making “really effing hot small-batch habanero jams,” head of sales Kay Brockmeyer, notes, “Habaneros have a really good heat that doesn’t stay forever so you can enjoy the heat, but it also fades off really fast.”
These spicy jellies instantly make plain toast or crackers more interesting, and if preferred, their fiery flavor can be slightly cooled by pairing them with cream cheese.
