Seed-Oil-Free Hotel Menus : Health-Centric Experience

A health-centric experience defines the latest culinary initiative from Proper Hotels, which has implemented a comprehensive transition to seed oil–free kitchens in partnership with Zero Acre Farms. Replacing conventional industrial oils such as canola, sunflower, and soybean, with a refined selection of non–seed oils, the change prioritizes nutritional integrity, environmental responsibility, and culinary performance.

Proper is now the first national hotel brand to adopt Zero Acre Farms’ fermentation-derived oil for all deep-frying applications, establishing a new benchmark in hospitality wellness. This shift complements “Proper’s integrated wellness philosophy, anchored in five pillars: Nourishment, Movement, Recovery, Rest, and Connection.” Emphasis remains on “local, organic ingredients, regenerative agriculture, functional nutrition, and low-temperature cooking” that protects flavor and health benefits.

Further elevating the guest experience, ‘Manukora Manuka Honey’ will be introduced to complimentary breakfasts across all properties beginning May 2025, reinforcing Proper’s dedication to conscious and enriching hospitality.
