Zamata added, "It was really peaceful and calming to be in Japan, and I stayed in the woods in a tree house and looked at the river every day. It was really nice."
When asked if she made a list of any hopes or intentions for her next decade of life, Zamata said that she wants "to bring into my 40s the energy of doing me and not doing other people. I feel like a lot of my 30s was spent managing other people's stuff and this year I'm not thinking about that. Just thinking about me."
She also described herself as "very crafty," adding that she loves gardening and flower arranging and hopes to make more things over the next decade.
"I have a lot of pressed flowers that I have not arranged in anything yet, so I want to start doing that. I want to crochet. Yeah, there's a lot of things I want to learn. I'm trying to learn Spanish, but that's really hard for my brain for some reason. Yeah, a lot of things," Zamata said.
The Saturday Night Live alum plays Suzie, a coworker of Adam Glenn/He-Man (Nicholas Galitzine), in the new Masters of the Universe film.
"A young man on Earth discovers a fabulous secret legacy as the prince of an alien planet, and must recover a magic sword and return home to protect his kingdom," the film's synopsis reads.
The cast also includes Camila Mendes, Jared Leto, Alison Brie, Idris Elba, Kristen Wiig and more.
"I had such an amazing time at the #MastersOfTheUniverse premiere!! I had a blast being a part of this movie, and I can’t wait for everyone to see it! In theaters June 5th 🗡️ @mastersmovie," Zamata captioned a photo of herself from the premiere on Instagram.
Zamata previously performed on Saturday Night Live from 2014 to 2017. Since departing the sketch comedy series, she has appeared in Home Economics, Agatha All Along and more.
