San Antonio Spurs DESTROY Oklahoma City Thunder to set up huge Game 7 showdown… with Knicks waiting in NBA Finals

The San Antonio Spurs set up a mouthwatering Game 7 against the Oklahoma City Thunder with a dominant win to tie the Western Conference Finals on Thursday night.

The New York Knicks await the winner in next month’s NBA Finals and San Antonio – led by Victor Wembanyama – took the series to a decider with a 118-91 victory.

These Conference Finals have been dominated by questions over the officiating and allegations of flopping by Thunder superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

And the two-time MVP found himself on the floor once more on Thursday night after he was floored by Carter Bryant in a collision that soon went viral.

Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder are looking to win back-to-back NBA Championships but, remarkably, they never led at any point of Thursday’s game.

Game 7 will be held in Oklahoma City on Saturday.

Oklahoma City’s hopes of booking their place in the NBA Finals with a game to spare were effectively ended in the third quarter, when they were restricted to just 13 points.

The Spurs outscored their opponents 32-13 over those 12 minutes, a period of dominance that included a run of 20 unanswered points.

Wembanyama, who labored in Game 5, amassed 28 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks, while Dylan Harper and Stephon Castle added 17 points apiece.
