Revealed: The 13 men accused of involvement with husband charged with ‘drugging and raping’ wife

Thirteen men accused of plotting with a husband in his 60s to drug and rape his unconscious wife have been named for the first time.

They are aged between 28 and 73 and include an ambulance paramedic once pictured meeting Prince Harry during a royal visit.

Also among them are a former nightclub DJ, a football club chief executive and university technician.

A series of attacks is alleged to have happened after a substance was administered to the woman at the couple’s address in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

On Monday the husband – who cannot be named to protect his wife’s identity – admitted offences including rape, assault by penetration and sexual assault.

He denies drugging her along with multiple other charges in relation to her alleged sexual abuse, said to have taken place over a 20-year period.

Now the identities of the men with whom he is accused of plotting can be revealed for the first time after a court order expired.

Twelve of them have denied a range of offences including rape, conspiracy to rape, assault by penetration, sexual assault and conspiracy to administer a substance with intent.

One has pleaded guilty to charges including conspiracy to rape.

Ambulance paramedic Jonathan Kirk, 43, from Stockport, denies charges of rape, conspiracy to rape and conspiracy to commit assault by penetration between 2023 and 2025.

The oldest of the accused, pensioner Graham Brougham, 73, is charged with the same offences as Kirk, also over two years. He has entered not guilty pleas.
