On Friday, ‘Way Up With Angela Yee’ shared a caption that read, “After a day of social media back-and-forth, there’s a new development in the Remy Ma and Papoose divorce case. Angela Yee and Doug Phenom discuss what happened.” In the accompanying clip, Angela Yee revealed that she recently interviewed Papoose’s current partner, Claressa Shields, for her podcast ‘Lip Service.’ Yee explained that a back-and-forth between Shields and Remy Ma reportedly took place not too long afterward. Yee also shared that there was apparently a virtual court date on Friday.

Judge Denies Reportedly Denies Motion In Case

Yee went on to explain that Remy Ma filed a motion seeking to have Papoose’s divorce complaint dismissed. According to Yee, the judge denied the motion, meaning the divorce proceedings remain ongoing. She further stated that there has been no final resolution in the matter at this time and that the divorce case is still active.

Yee then questioned why someone would file a motion asking for a divorce to be dismissed. She said she did some research and found that there are several reasons someone could potentially seek to have a divorce filing dismissed, depending on the circumstances of the case. For now, it appears the legal proceedings between Remy Ma and Papoose are continuing, with no final resolution announced.

And Remy Ma apparently caught wind of the conversation — and she wasn’t letting it slide! The rapper pulled up in the comments of ‘Way Up With Angela Yee’s’ Instagram post and seemingly addressed the discussion, writing, “Say their names or keep it on the playground.” But she didn’t stop there. In a follow-up comment, Remy shared a popular GIF featuring Kandi Burruss repeatedly saying, “THE LIES,” seemingly making it clear how she felt about what was being discussed.

Folks wasted no time running to ‘Way Up With Angela Yee’s’ Instagram comment section and running up the reactions after Remy Ma chimed in. Some called on Angela to “get the story straight” before reporting on the situation. But others speculated that Remy may be trying to dismiss the divorce proceedings so she doesn’t have to give Papoose “half.”
