Design Within Reach, otheriwse known as DWR has worked together with vacation rental platform Boutique on the Wave House. The structure is known for its bright and swept roofline paired with an avant-garde design language It seamlessly nods to the past while transforming into a rentable dynamic space.

The Wave House is an intersection of furniture, architecture, and fashion in an immersive environment. This marks the first time that the studio has launched an experimental rental residence as a closer step of bringing modern design in a tangible way. After its reimagination and restoration by Stayner Architects, the house reopened once again in 2020. Now, it is also a city-designated historical site in Palm Desert.
