A dead body was found at a $1.15 million home owned by Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley’s husband.
Officers were dispatched to the eight-bedroom, four-bath home in Boston’s Mattapan neighborhood just before 2pm Saturday for an ‘investigate person’ call.
Police arrived at the residence shortly after and found a dead body in the area of the property, a force spokesperson told The Boston Globe.
Boston police later reclassified the case as a death investigation. No further details are available at this time.
Pressley’s husband, Conan Harris, 49, purchased the multi-family property for $340,000 in 2021.
He and Pressley, 52, do not live at the residence, which they appear to be selling. It was listed Thumbprint Realty for $1.15 million last month.
The couple’s realtor, Chantae Turner, told the newspaper that the current tenants had been living at the home for ‘a while.’
She declined to comment further on the death, which she described as ‘unfortunate.’
