PJ Tucker Knicks Plan To Sign 10 Day Contract

The New York Knicks and P.J. Tucker intend to sign a 10 Day contract. Tucker was recently waived by the Toronto Raptors, after being acquired from the Utah Jazz at the trade deadline.

Tucker has not appeared in a game this season, despite being on rosters in the LA Clippers, Jazz and Raptors. Last season, the veteran forward played in 31 combed games between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Clippers.

This season, Tucker and the Clippers agreed he would remain away from the team, while they looked for a trade for him and his expiring $11 million contract. Tucker was first sent to the Jazz, as part of the deal that brought Drew Eubanks and Patty Mills to LA. The Jazz then sent Tucker to Toronto as part of a five-team deal. The Raptors waived Tucker at the end of February.
