Secret Lives of Mormon Wives to Resume Production After Taylor Frankie Paul Investigation
The secret is out: A new Secret Lives of Mormon Wives show is on the way.
While season five of the Hulu series is set to resume filming following Taylor Frankie Paul’s domestic violence case, the network announced at Hulu’s Get Real House Live on April 22 that a spinoff show is also in development.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County will center on a new cast of MomTokers in Southern California, including flagship cast member Mayci Neeley’s sister MaCall DaPron. She’ll be joined by costars Aspyn Ovard, Avery Woods, Salomé Andrea, Chandler Higginson, Ashleigh Pease and Madison Bontempo.
The OG Mormon Wives’ cast—which includes Taylor, Jen Affleck, Whitney Leavitt, Jessi Draper and Mikayla Matthews—were not announced as members of the new series’ cast.
A few members of the Mormon Wives cast have already branched out into other reality TV franchises, with Jen and Whitney competing on the most recent season of Dancing With the Stars. Plus, Taylor was set to lead season 22 of The Bachelorette in March before ABC decided to cancel her upcoming season amid the release of a 2023 video of a physical altercation between her and her ex Dakota Mortensen.
