One killed after iconic rock band’s tour bus is involved in horror multi-vehicle highway crash

A famous rock band’s tour bus was involved in a fatal crash while traveling for their national tour.

California hard rock group Buckcherry confirmed that their tour bus had been involved in a ‘multi-vehicle accident’ on Interstate 26 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, around 2am Friday.

‘Tragically, authorities have confirmed that the collision that occurred ahead of our bus resulted in a fatality,’ the band said on social media.

The band added that they were ‘extremely grateful to report that all members of Buckcherry and our touring crew are safe and unharmed.’

‘Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the family and loved ones of the person who lost their life,’ Buckcherry’s post continued. ‘We sincerely appreciate everyone who has reached out with concern and support.’

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said that a pedestrian had been involved in a crash around mile marker 31 of I-26, WYFF reported.

When the driver left their car, he was struck in the roadway by a Toyota Sedan, according to FOX Carolina.

Authorities have not disclosed the identity of the victim or how Buckcherry’s bus was involved in the accident exactly.
