The new marriage of the Aussie who beat a puppy dog to death and ate it during his traditional wedding in Indonesia may already be on the rocks.

Convicted drug dealer Robby Wirramanda, 53, real name Robert Knight, sparked fury this month after he killed the black pup in West Nusa Tenggara island, east of Bali.

The whimpering dog’s back legs were tied to stop it escaping while Wirramanda was filmed beating it to death with a stick during his wedding to local bride, Rensi Ana, 20.

His new wife posted the clip on Facebook – including him also stabbing a piglet to death – but it was later deleted after Wirramanda was hit by a firestorm of outrage.

Wirramanda has since posted videos of him being baptised before a second, more Western-style marriage ceremony with his bride wearing a lacy white dress.

But speculation is now growing that their marriage may already be in trouble, after a series of fractious videos showed him snapping and sniping with his young wife.

The videos also ominously show Wirramanda playing with other puppy dogs, including one which was identical to the one he killed. 

In another clip of him patting a golden labradoodle-style dog, his wife added a chilling caption: ‘People who eat animals for breakfast should also have breakfast hehe.’

The videos have now sparked a chilling warning from animal protection site Bali Dogs and other online commentators warning: ‘He is playing with it to gain its trust… then will kill it the same way.’

Another added: ‘You shouldn’t be allowed near any animals.’

Just a few weeks after Wirramanda married for a second time, while also apparently finding God to be baptised, cracks in the relationship appear to be emerging already.

Ana has been seen having an apparent row with her new husband in one of the many videos she has recently posted on Facebook as she monetises her new-found fame.

Dressed in a pristine white shirt, she snapped at her new husband, telling him to back off as she posed for her phone and pointed out she was recording herself eating.

In reply, a frustrated-sounding Wirramanda repeatedly demanded: ‘Is there anything you want me to put in the bag? How many times do you want me to ask you?’

When Ana ignored him and again pointed at her mobile phone’s camera, her husband gasped: ‘Oh my God!’ 

He then appeared to then aggressively grab the phone from his wife’s hand and take it from her before the video ended.

Wirramanda, from Mildura in Victoria, was jailed for six and a half years in 2012 over an amphetamine trafficking operation he ran from his Melbourne gym.

He broke his silence after the puppy dog video went viral to deny slurs made by online trolls.

‘An extraordinary amount of false, defamatory and deeply disturbing information has been circulated about me across social media,’ he posted.

‘A significant amount of this material appears to be coming from, or being amplified by members and associates of my former partner’s family.

‘But there is an enormous difference between discussing someone’s documented past and inventing accusations of murder, rape, paedophilia, child trafficking and other serious crimes.’

He said he would report any further comments ‘to the appropriate authorities’.

However he continues to come under fire for the puppy-killing videos, although some locals have leapt to his defence. 

‘Back when I was in junior high, I absolutely loved eating dog meat,’ said one user, posting in the local Indonesian Bahasa language.

‘I don’t eat it anymore because I’m an animal lover. That said, I still acknowledge the tradition in Sumba; my family does eat it, but we don’t kill dogs that guard the house.’

The notorious Facebook clip showed Wirramanda beating the dog before delivering the final death blows to the head while being egged on by his bride at his side. 

‘If you encounter suspected animal cruelty, abuse, neglect, or other actions that could cause suffering to an animal, document the incident safely and report it,’ Animal Lawyer Indonesia pleaded on Instagram.

The Daily Mail has contacted Wirramanda for comment.
