Ever the devoted Swiftie, comedian Nikki Glaser was beyond excited to attend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s star-studded wedding at Madison Square Garden.
“I want to say that I went to a wedding at Madison Square Garden three months ago,” Glaser, 42, began during her Friday, September 4, residency at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, according to audio obtained by Us. “I just want to talk about it a little bit. Allegedly — I actually can’t say that I was there legally or else a sniper dot will appear on my forehead.”
Swift and Kelce, both 36, said “I do” on July 3 inside the famed New York City landmark in front of nearly 1,000 of the pair’s family and famous friends. In addition to officiant Adam Sandler, the couple’s guest list included Glaser, Tom Cruise, Miranda Lambert and Patrick Mahomes — and yes, they all signed non-disclosure agreements to keep details from the big day private.
“I am a huge Swiftie, probably the biggest Swiftie that was at that event. If you’re a Swiftie, you’ll understand, I got the text inviting me to the wedding,” the comedian joked on Friday of the personal invitation she received. “I never thought in a million years I’d get invited. I don’t even know them, but I got invited, and I’m shaking as I’m opening [the message]. I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I want to tell everyone that I know.’”

Receiving her text invite months in advance, Glaser followed the strict instructions not to publicly reveal any details of the nuptials.
“I didn’t tell anyone, obviously, I was too scared to,” she said. “So, I go to the wedding. I am in there for 12 hours, and none of my family or friends know where I am. I’m off the grid for 12 hours. They’re texting me, my location’s off. They all thought I killed myself because I wasn’t invited. I was actually inside, and I had nothing to show for it because I had to turn in my phone.”
Glaser continued, “I go in, and I have no pictures. It sucks so much because it was the best night of my life as a Swiftie, like, the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. The purest love I’ve ever witnessed, and I have no pictures [and] no evidence.”
According to Glaser, she saw “so many celebrities” inside MSG, including Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Spielberg and Julia Roberts.
“It was so wild,” Glaser gushed. “It was interesting because some of these celebrities were alone, and these people are never alone. Like, some [allegedly] didn’t get plus-ones, and they just had to go to this event alone. And, because they always have a publicist or assistant, or a blood boy; there’s always someone with these people. But, like, J. Lo was alone.”
Glaser quickly took it upon herself to say hello to Lopez, 57, during the celebration.
“I kind of know J .Lo, so I was like, ‘Hey!’ And she was like, ‘Oh my God, Nikki,’ and she threw her coat at me,” Glaser joked. “I was just kind of carrying her things around … but we went to the bathroom together. We were, like, pals all night.”
After enjoying the “magical” nuptials — as Kelce described it on his “New Heights” podcast earlier this week — Glaser wanted to bring home a special something from the memorable evening.
“I got really close to stealing something from it because I was, like, ‘I want one cool artifact from this,’” Glaser set up another joke. “it was late in the night. Everyone’s kind of drunk, dancing on the dance floor. And I’m back by the cake, vaping. … I look up at the cake and on the top tier, where the two little cake toppers are, it’s just Travis.”
Since all the guests had to surrender their phones, Glaser wondered if anyone would “know it’s [her] if she swiped the Kelce-shaped cake topper.
“I reach up, I get it. I’m two seconds from putting it in my purse. It’s almost in there, and then I hear Tom Cruise be like, ‘Put me down!’” she quipped of Cruise’s height. “I’m, like, ‘Oh my, God!’”
