Nick Young Explains Why He & Keonna Green Still Haven’t Said “I Do”

Roommates, how perfect does your wedding have to be? Well, if you ask Nick Young, it has to be NEXT LEVEL! Every little detail has to hit, and it looks like that’s one of the reasons why he and Keonna Green still haven’t made it to the alter. While chopping it up with Shannon Sharpe, Nick explained that “there was a lot going on,” which is why they have remained engaged seven years after he popped the question.

However, Swaggy said he’s “supposed to be getting married in December” of this year. He shared that the originally planned for August but kept pushing the date back because “the weather wasn’t right.” Shannon told him the weather shouldn’t stop the show and suggested moving the ceremony indoors. But Nick wasn’t having it! He explained that they wanted an outdoor wedding. He also doesn’t want his guests sweating during the ceremony, either, okay, consideration! “So, we gotta find when the weather is perfect.” Nick continued, “If the weather ain’t right. It ain’t right.” But still, Nick assured Shannon that once they find the right area the wedding is going down! He added, “Once we find the right time of the day […] I tell her we can get married tomorrow!” 

More About Nick & Keonna’s Relationship

Nick Young and Keonna Green have reportedly been on and off since 2002. While speaking with Shannon, Nick shared that they’ve known each other since high school and now have four kids together. He reportedly popped the question to Keonna on Christmas Day in 2019.
