San Francisco 49ers stars Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle made sure to honor their country before playing a round of golf in California.
Along with their wives, McCaffrey and Kittle attended Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio at the weekend as they continue to enjoy some downtime in the NFL offseason.
The pair then joined teammate Jake Tonges and country singers Chase Rice and Shay Mooney on the golf course Sunday, where they were seen singing the American national anthem before getting underway.
In a video shared on Instagram by McCaffrey’s wife, model and actress Olivia Culpo, the five men stood in a line on the golf course with their caps off and their hands over their hearts while performing a rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner.
‘Not sure whose idea this was, but they committed lol…’ Culpo wrote as the caption.
Fans absolutely loved to see their patriotic act, including one user who commented on X: ‘Nailed it!’

Another posted: ‘Love this!’
‘You know what, they didn’t sound bad,’ one fan posted on Instagram.
While another simply put: ‘I f***ing love this team.’
Culpo also shared a selfie of her and fellow 49ers WAG Claire Kittle riding on a cart with their husbands at Stagecoach, the country music festival held at Indio’s Empire Polo Club.
McCaffrey, Kittle and Tonges have almost three months until San Francisco’s summer training camp gets underway ahead of the 2026 season.
However, Kittle is unlikely to be fit in time for the start of the new campaign after suffering an Achilles tear in their NFC Wild Card victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in January.
The tight end became the latest name on a long list of injury woes that have ravaged the 49ers in recent years, fueling bizarre theories, including one that pointed to a power station near the team’s facilities.
According to researcher Peter Cowan, a board-certified quantum biology practitioner, San Francisco’s fitness problems may be the result of chronic exposure to ‘low-frequency electromagnetic fields’ from an electrical substation located right next to their stadium and practice facility.

After Cowan’s theory recently went viral on X, Kittle’s season-ending Achilles tear against the Eagles brought it even further into the spotlight.
So much so that 49ers general manager John Lynch admitted that the Niners had been forced into assessing it behind the scenes.
‘Because it deals with, allegedly, the health and safety of our players, you have to look into everything,’ Lynch said about the theory in a press conference with head coach Kyle Shanahan.
‘Our guys have been, we’ve been reaching out to anyone and everyone to see if a study does exist. We will look into it, we have.’
Meanwhile, both McCaffrey and Tonges played in the Niners’ Divisional Round playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks, who went on to defeat the New England Patriots at Super Bowl LX.
