A former New York Jets wide receiver and his fiancée, a former Miss Peru, have called off their engagement less than one year after welcoming their first child.
Ex-Jet Allen Lazard and his now-former fiancée, Camila Escribens, are no longer together, according to TMZ.
The outlet reports that the two already sent out wedding invitations prior to their split. The couple welcomed a daughter last October.
Both Lazard and Escribens deleted images featuring each other from their Instagram accounts, with the former pageant queen removing the post that showed off her engagement ring.
In the days since the rumored split, Escribens shared a gallery of images to her Instagram account from a tropical locale.
Lazard popped the question with a romantic beach proposal in Montauk, New York, on Long Island last May.

The couple were first linked when Escribens was seen on the sidelines at multiple Jets games
Images showed the former Jets wideout on one knee along a candle-lit path with white flowers around him.
The path led to Lazard and a neon sign with the words ‘Will you marry me?’ surrounded by a heart-shaped floral arrangement.
‘Onto the next chapter… 05.18.25.’ read a post from Escribens’ account, announcing the engagement.
The Jets even posted a congratulatory message at the time of the announcement.
‘they’re engaged! congrats to @AllenLazard and his new fiancé,’ the team posted.
Months later, Lazard and Escribens welcomed their daughter. The gender reveal post is the only evidence of his past relationship that Lazard has on his Instagram account.
The couple went public with their relationship in 2024 when Escribens was spotted at multiple Jets games.
She posted photos from MetLife Stadium on multiple occasions, including during a Monday Night Football contest against the Buffalo Bills where she wore a Jets varsity jacket.
Lazard was released from the Jets in December 2025 and hasn’t signed with a new team yet

Lazard has yet to sign with a new NFL team after being released by the Jets in December.
He signed with Gang Green ahead of the 2023 season where he hoped to be a strong target for his former Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.
However, neither Rodgers nor Lazard’s tenures were successful. While the quarterback underperformed and missed a majority of the 2023 NFL season due to injury, Lazard wasn’t as impactful as advertised.
Across three seasons, he only tallied 70 catches for 911 yards and eight touchdowns.
Escribens was crowned Miss Peru in 2023 and finished in the top-10 during the 2023 edition of the Miss Universe pageant.
