New York Mets’ historic losing streak is OVER as Zohran Mamdani curse finally ends after team’s first win in 13 games

The New York Mets have finally ended their historic losing streak after earning their first win in 13 games on Wednesday night.

New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani can breathe a sigh of relief following the Mets’ much-needed victory over the Minnesota Twins, which ended the ‘curse’ fans believe he had inflicted on them.

Following his visit to Citi Field earlier this month, when he was filmed embracing mascots Mr. and Mrs. Met, the struggling MLB team endured their worst-ever losing run after going 0-12.

Yet 13 proved lucky for the Mets on Wednesday night, when they finally ended Mamdani’s curse by snatching a 3-2 win over the Twins.

Mark Vientos drove in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning, before pitcher Luke Weaver closed it out in the ninth to seal the victory.
