An influencer has died after falling from the 27th floor of a high-rise building in Dubai.
Kauana Bilhar, 27, who amassed a huge online following through her modelling work and travel content, died after plunging from the tower, prompting a police investigation.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death and have not ruled out the possibility of an accident, suicide, homicide or femicide.
Her death was confirmed by her mother, Darla Bilhar, on July 7.
‘There are no words capable of expressing the magnitude of the longing you left behind,’ said Darla.
‘Today you are no longer by my side as I dreamed, but you will live forever within me.
‘I love you infinitely, my girl. Until the day we can meet again.’
Darla has travelled to Dubai to follow the investigation and arrange for her daughter’s body to be returned to Brazil.
In one of her final social media posts, Kauana celebrated her engagement to partner Barbara Abrantes.

She posted the celebration on June 25, which is believed to be her last on social media.
The exact date of the Brazilian model’s death is unclear.
Heartbroken mum Darla has demanded respect for her daughter after her social media was flooded with malicious comments.
She added: ‘My daughter deserves respect.
‘She can no longer respond to the accusations, the malicious comments, the stories that are being created about her.
‘It is with my soul in pieces that I come to speak out.
‘My daughter deserves respect.’
Earlier this year a British tourist died in a ‘tragic accident’ after plunging from a hotel balcony in Tenerife.
Harrison Hanley was holidaying on the Spanish island on April 25 when his body was discovered at the Parque Santiago 2 apartment complex on the Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina in Playa de las Americas.
The swimming instructor, who lived in West Derby, was found by a maintenance worker and is said to have fallen from an ‘internal balcony’ in what is now being described as a ‘tragic accident’.
Speaking at an inquest hearing held in the Gerard Majella Courthouse in Liverpool, senior coroner André Rebello said: ‘On the 25th April 2026, Harrison suffered trauma from a fall from an internal balcony in the apartment block where he was on holiday.
‘Harrison died instantly from his injuries. There is no evidence that this was anything but a tragic accident.’
Rebello ruled Mr Hanley’s death was accidental, with his Spanish death certificate stating he died as a result of traumatic shock due to precipitation.
The coroner told the court that this meant he died from injuries suffered from the fall.
In attendance at the inquest were Harrison’s dad, brother and auntie, with Rebello urging them to continue to ‘celebrate Harrison’s life in everything you do’.
