This is the moment an idiot arsonist sets himself on fire after he torched two cars in the middle of the night.
Krzysztof Orzechowski started the blaze on a residential street in Slough, Berkshire, at 4am on March 9 while a young family were fast asleep at home.
CCTV from the house opposite captures the moment both the cars burst into flames.
Orzechowski can then be seen running away from the fire with his arm on fire.
Fortunately, the family was able to escape the blaze but their vehicles and home were significantly damaged.
Thames Valley Police launched an investigation and, six days after the arson attack, the force attempted to stop Orzechowski while he was driving a vehicle linked to the incident.
After he failed to stop, police pursued Orzechowski in a car chase, with the 32-year-old recklessly overtaking other vehicles and hitting a top speed of 100mph.
He eventually crashed his car where he was arrested by the force.

Today at Reading Crown Court, Orzechowski was sentenced to five years and seven months behind bars after he pleaded guilty to arson with intent to endanger life and driving a motor vehicle dangerously.
The court heard that Orzechowski bought the jerry can from a nearby petrol station before travelling to the home on Stoke Road.
He then drove off from the scene leaving the dangerous fire to engulf the property and cars.
The victim said in a statement: ‘I feel like every part of my life has been impacted by this.
‘This incident did not just damage property: it damaged our sense of safety; it damaged our mental health; it changed how we live and how we feel in our own home.
‘We are frightened, unsettled and constantly on edge. It has affected every part of my life and my family’s life, and I am not sure when or if we will ever fully recover.’
Investigating officer Detective Constable Chloe Winchcombe said: ‘Krzysztof Orzechowski is a dangerous offender and a risk to the public.
‘I’m pleased he has been sentenced accordingly after this shocking behaviour.

‘It is incredibly fortunate that no one was hurt after Orzechowski set fire to two cars in the middle of the night and recklessly drove at high speeds in a futile attempt to evade arrest.
‘Thames Valley Police will never tolerate such offending so we will always work tirelessly to bring perpetrators like Orzechowski to justice and support victims.’
Orzechowski, of no fixed address, was also disqualified from driving for a year, once he is released from prison, and he was ordered to pay a £228 surcharge.
The police are continuing to investigate the arson, with a 32-year-old man from Slough on bail.
