The Flipster is a beautiful furniture piece that joins the roster at the Latvian brand Wigiwama. It was designed in-house by Litvyakov and joins the modular children’s furniture lineup, working as essentially an evolution of the Flip chair by the brand. The Flipster works as a chair, a play mat, or a lounger and is comprised of four upholstered modules made from polyurethane. There are two seat cushions that can be stacked to use as a chair or laid to create a lounger.

The two backrest cushions can be connected together or apart to support different positions. Litvyakov explains, “We want to encourage children’s independence by designing furniture that they can easily manage themselves. That is why our pieces, including the Flipster, are lightweight and easy to move. It allows children to take charge of their space, rearrange it as they like, and create their own little worlds, encouraging both creativity and self-sufficiency.”
