A top New York City lawyer who was caught kissing an underling on a Central Park bench has been suspended from his firm, it has emerged.
Nathaniel D Cullerton, a partner at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, was placed on leave amid an investigation into a now-viral video of him and his colleague Kelsey Borenzweig, the Financial Times reported.
The married lawyer, 45, and Borenzweig, 29, were caught together in the shadows of Billionaires’ Row by a TikTok comedian named Jay Guapo, who shared the clip with his 3.5 million followers last week. It is unclear when the video was filmed.
Cullerton was among six Wachtell partners that were expected to soon jump ship to rival Gibson Dunn.
But his employment was scrapped in the wake of the video, sources familiar with the matter told the newspaper.
It is unclear with Borenzweig is also under investigation over the video.
Both Cullerton and Borenzweig’s attorney profiles remained active on Wachtell’s website, as of Tuesday morning.
