Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon Celebrate Their Twins’ 15th Birthday ‣ Diverse Daily

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have 15-year-olds! The superstar parents are celebrating their twins, Monroe and Moroccan Cannon, this week. Both parents shared sweet social media messages honoring their mini-mes’ birthdays. The celebration comes just after Nick admitted in an interview that he’d be open to more kids with Mariah if she asked.

Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon Celebrate Twins’ 15th Birthday

On April 30, Mariah Carey shared photos and videos of her twins on Instagram. The pictures show Moroccan, Monroe and Mariah at the twins Disneyland birthday party, wearing matching shirts that said, “Rocky & Roe 15th Birthday.” A video shows the twins blowing out candles on individual cakes. In her caption, Mama Carey wrote, “Happy Birthday, Roc & Roe!!!! 🎉🎁 I love you so much ❤️ Mom.”

Meanwhile, Nick Cannon shared what appears to be a separate celebration from what Mariah posted. In dad’s video, it looks like the family popped out to Six Flags to celebrate the twins’ 15th birthday.

“Got two 15 year olds on my hands now!!!! Happy Birthday to my first firstborns! I thank God and you for allowing me to be your Dad! I love you Roc and Roe! Happy Birthday! 🥳🎢 @sixflagsmagicmountain,” Nick wrote in his caption.

It’s unclear whether Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey attended each other’s birthday celebration for their kids.

Nick Says No One Can Be Compared To Mariah, Open To Having More Kids With Her

On April 29, his week Shannon Sharpe released a ‘Club Shay Shay’ interview guest-starring Cannon. At one point, they spoke about the multi-talent having a large family, 12 kids to be specific. Nick told Shannon that he’d love to have more, but later clarified that he doesn’t think he’ll be expanding his family anytime soon. However, he said that he’d be open to the conversation of having more children if one of his coparents presented it. “…As the family man that I am, I’m trying to make sure everybody happy,” he said.

Nick Cannon also told Shannon Sharpe that at least one of his coparents is in a relationship, but said that he doesn’t think the others are invested in another man. As far as Mariah Carey goes, Nick Cannon said he doesn’t know what she’s doing lately. But if she’s busy, Nick joked that he could be, too! Then, he explained that he’d be open to them procreating again after Shannon asked whether she’s his true love.

“…That was my wife, that was literally my dream girl and then the fact that we still have such a great relationship to this day. You can’t compare her to anybody else. I believe I was truly in love with her and will always be in love with her.” He added, “If Mariah want another one, I’m giving her three more. We going all the way in. Cannon Carey starting five.”

Aside from the jokes, he clarified that they hadn’t ever discussed more children because their goal was always a girl and a boy.

A Recap Of Nick Cannon’s Family Tree

As mentioned, Nick Cannon is a father to 12 children with six women. Monroe and Moroccan Cannon are Nick’s firstborn children, whom he and Mariah Carey welcomed in 2011 during their 8-year marriage.

Then, in 2017, he had his third child overall and first with Brittany Bell, a son named Golden Sagon. Bell and Cannon had their second child (his fourth) named Powerful Queen in 2020. The following year, Nick welcomed twins, Zion and Zillion, with Abby De La Rosa. Also in 2021, he had his seventh child, Zen, with Alyssa Scott. Zen passed away later that year in December 2021 after a brain cancer diagnosis.

The following year he spun the block on some of his coparents and added a new one to his roster, welcoming five children total. Legendary Love was born to Bre Tiesi, while LaNisha Cole welcomed Onyx Ice. Brittney Bell had her third child by Cannon, Rise Messiah. Abby De La Rosa also welcomed her third by Nick, named Beautiful Zeppelin. His youngest child is with Alyssa Scott, a daughter named Halo Marie.
