A man and woman have been charged with murder a year after their alleged victim was found dead with stab wounds.
The 48-year-old woman’s body was discovered at a home in Goulburn in the NSW Southern Tablelands, about 200km southwest of Sydney, on January 3, 2025.
The discovery was made after police received a welfare concern report.
Officers forced entry to the property and found the woman dead with multiple stab wounds.
A 40-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man were charged with murder on Thursday.
Police will allege the victim was known to her alleged attackers, having previously been in a domestic relationship with the 40-year-old woman.
Officers executed a search warrant in Goulburn at about 8.30am on Thursday.
The woman was arrested and taken to Southern Highlands Police Station.

The man, who was escorted out of the house in just his boxers and a cast on his arm, was taken to Goulburn Police Station.
The pair were both charged with domestic violence-related murder and refused bail to appear in court on Friday.
